Overview
2N® IP Intercoms and XProtect Integration - Live audio and video streaming from 2N IP Intercoms to XProtect® Smart Client.
Once you add the intercom to the XProtect® system, its camera, speaker, microphone and outputs are automatically mapped to XProtect®. Compatibility between 2N IP intercoms and Milestone XProtect ensures the ONVIF protocol and RTSP streaming.HOW CAN YOU BENEFIT FROM THE INTEGRATION?
Security operators can monitor video from the intercom together with videos from other IP cameras. They can even control doors remotely from XProtect® system. The operators can immediately see who is standing at the door and speak with the visitor. If necessary, the operator can begin recording video, zoom in with the camera on the scene or switch between individual cameras to follow the movement of selected persons.
2N Intercoms also offer a possibility to trigger the virtual ONVIF output based on the predefined action in the intercom. It means that button press, motion or noise detection, door forced open, etc. triggers an alarm in the XProtect® Smart Client.

- Output control – operator can control the intercom's outputs directly from the XProtect® Smart Client to open doors, gates or switch lights.
- Door control & monitoring – access events, door control and monitoring is enabled with 2N® Access Commander plugin for XProtect
