Milestone Marketplace is designed to feature hardware, software and solution services that are optimized for XProtect®.

Examples include:
- Access control systems integrating alarms and events into a Milestone VMS
- PSIM systems using video streams from Milestone VMS
- Reference architecture optimizing the use of Milestone VMS with hardware devices or IT infrastructure components

Marketplace also features solution services that are used to design, deploy and maintain video installations.

You must be a Milestone Technology Partner to get your technology offering verified. Milestone Verification is intended to verify the compatibility of the partner’s specific software, hardware or service. Verification is based on documentation submitted, combined with a current version of Milestone XProtect® video management software (VMS).

The technical setup, configuration, testing and operations are done by the partner. The tests and operations done should be documented so that Milestone’s engineers can independently verify the overall performance and functionality of the partner’s product. The partner can document the tests and operations in the manner that the partner finds appropriate, e.g. free text, screen shots and video clips. Some products are more suited for an online, remote review as a part of the verification. This must be agreed on with the Milestone Verification Team. Once Milestone has received all documentation, Milestone engineers will review it to see if it is possible to proceed to the actual verification step. If not, you will be contacted directly.

Note: Milestone Channel Partners do not need verification or certification to join Milestone Marketplace.
For Technology Partners, a content page is a place to showcase a software, hardware or service. Channel Partners can use content pages to highlight their solution services. Each Milestone Marketplace membership plan comes with one content page. You can purchase as many plans as you need.
If you are the administrator on My Milestone, you can go to the “User Administration” page from “Invite co-worker”. Users with a My Milestone login, can get access as Milestone Marketplace. If you are not a Milestone Marketplace administrator on My Milestone, you will see a list of administrators to contact for help adding the relevant co-worker.

Only Milestone Marketplace administrators or editors can edit and publish content. Only Milestone Marketplace administrators can create new content pages and change the subscription level.

Once you have added all your content to your content page, you must send it for feedback. This is a 3-step process:
  • A yellow "Send for feedback" button will appear once you have completed all requirements for your company profile or content page.
  • Milestone will review your page and send it back to you with feedback.
  • You will receive a notification by email and on your My Marketplace Overview page when your page is ready to be published.
Note: Technology Partners are required to have hardware, software and services verified before submitting content pages for verification with Milestone.
