Surveillance HA for XProtect - Zero-loss failover for XProtect Recording Servers - protect your mission-critical recordings
Surveillance HA is High Availability software enabling zero-loss failover for your Recording Servers and cameras, including the option to record footage to multiple servers in separate locations. With Surveillance HA all previous recordings as well as your live feed remain immediately available after a failover thus ensuring business continuity and regulatory compliance.Safeguard your mission-critical data - if the original recording server cannot be brought back to life, its associated recordings are fully recoverable. Surveillance HA supports two failover configurations for maximum flexibility: Server Cloning & Camera Pairing.
The Server Cloning method replicates a recording server already in use on the VMS network with a stand-by recording server, storing newly recorded data on both and synchronizing them continuously to avoid any data gaps.
Camera Pairing is designed to clone selected cameras on two active recording servers into a High Availability unit.

How it works

In the Server Cloning failover configuration, the Primary and Secondary servers share the same configuration and form a cluster. To a Management Server, both servers appear as a single machine.

With Camera Pairing, the Primary and Secondary servers maintain completely independent configurations. Each server can support different cameras, frame rates, resolutions, and retention periods.
